  I guess I'm a bit prejudiced. Let me qualify that. I'm single, I don't cook (do not like to eat alone.) That being said, I eat out almost exclusively and I've eaten at every decent restaurant between Portland and Tacoma. I was lucky to find Ricardo'so about 9 years ago and I'very been a regular ever since. Those that have posted before me have mentioned the food, the service, the atmosphere, the prices, etc. I my humble opinion, Ricardo's is the Best! Ricardo's is not a fast food joint! You will certainly get what you pay for and you will pay less for what you would elsewhere that is not as good. Just my two cents worth! Jody

  Really shocked at the negative reviews. I suppose some people are just entitled and cranky? I went here for a birthday dinner and it was phenomenal. It was pricey, but worth every penny. I've never had chicken or seafood so good. I'd probably go far enough to say this may be the best quality food I've had in Lacey/Olympia. Service was great. Would love to come back for another special occasion.

  Food was fantastic! Best steak my fiance and I have ever had. Service was great as well. We loved the romantic setting. Definetly will be our special place for date night.

  We used maps and couldn't find the place, we had to call for directions. The food was good but the prices were very high. I wouldn't have paid the prices of most the dishes on the menu, I was attending a get together and luckily didn't pay. Everyone ordered alcoholic drinks. I asked what non alcoholic drinks they served and was answered with things such as tomato juice and other juice options. Yes, he actually made a joke of me asking for a non alcoholic drink. I didn't laugh, and when he stopped laughing he finally told me they have lemonade and coffee. The restaurant is loud, the atmosphere is uncomfortable, the staff will chat with you all you want but if you actually need service good luck waiting. I guess if I went there solely for steak maybe I would feel different, but I went there to enjoy a meal with friends. I enjoyed smoking outside by their fire before I left. I enjoyed the food, it was good but again I wouldn't have paid the high price for it myself.
